Redesign Fragrance Packaging

For the course Designing in Context I had an assignment called ‘Observations’. First we had to take 40 pictures of interesting shapes or atmospheres, or took pictures we already made ourselves. We had to select one picture with an interesting atmosphere. I took a picture of a sunset in Croatia. After this I made a mindmap related to this picture and devided these words into three subjects: leisure time, warmth and nature/landscape. With these subjects in mind I made a collage of pictures of the atmosphere and a collage of products related to this atmosphere.

Then I took a second picture of a product with an interesting shape: a fragrance. I analysed the shape by making sketches and made again a collage with pictures and products based on the shape and style of the fragrance.

Finally I redesigned the fragance in such a way that it consists of the atmosphere of my first picture. I made sketches and a digital representation.
