Interfacing Sensors
For the course Sensors each week a lecture about a basic principle, used in different sensors, was given. The following topics were part of the course: acquisition, resistive sensing, capacitive sensing, optical sensing, magnetic sensing and acoustic sensing. Also definitions of, for example, accuracy, precision, sensitivity and range were part of the course.
Next to the lectures there were tutorial sessions in which the principles of the lectures were used in practical examples. Each week a different sensors should be interfaced using Arduino. The sensor should be analysed and measurements with the sensor should be done to see if the sensor showed the behaviour as mentioned in the datasheet and to check whether the sensor was accurate or not.
